    • I have nerve damage and pain form my wreck in my lower leg.  From the knee down I can't feel anything in the skin at all.  I also have the drop foot from it but I realy HATE my AFO brace, lol

I can't stand to wear regular socks either.  I don't have enough strength in my toes to keep them from scrunching together.  I wear toe socks now and I love them!  They are the socks that look like gloves.  They keep my toes apart and feel great.  I do have to watch whenbuying them to  make sure the elastic at the top isn't to tight.  I hate having a cover on my leg too but have made a make shift tent to keep my leg warm.

    • I have dropped feet, but not been diagnoised as being passed about. My B12 level is 772 and folate 16.3 so thats very good. I only have tingling in my feet and things dont bother me if they are on my feet, but the afo's do as i dont like them. My quads are also weak.and at times twitch. I can also move my toes downwards but not up (but i keep trying to) I crawl up stairs but can go down one at a time a sometime a normal but slowly, i also have feeling. I have no other symptoms. Does anyone else have this or no what it could be, or what i can do.. I am so desperate to walk so i can get a holiday and life back as been a carer and haven't been able to have a holiday for over 7years.

    • Hi everyone,

Have any of your doctors mentioned RSD or CRPS to you? Especially Kathy12 with the constant burning. I don't want to make you think you have something worse that what you may have been told, but I do have this and some of your symptoms sound familiar. This site has a special secion on it: http://www.disaboom.com/Health/ComplexRegionalPainSyndrome/Default.aspx

Feel free to PM me with any questions,

      Bailey
