Hey Lucky! I think I missed your post earlier. Anyway, Welcome to Disaboom! You had a busy day.
Shimas, sorry to hear about the wildfires and the heat. I hope you have AC?!?!? Keep cool girl! I hope you get your new controller soon.
Hey! I heard Brett Favre may be coming back to the Pack! My heart is going pitter-pat right now. I just love Brett. I knew he wasn't ready to retire. I feel sorry for the secondary quarterback though. He'll have to wait another year to be first string. GO PACKERS!
I had a busy day too. Went to the big town to get my youngest a birthday present. Connor will be 17 on the 10th. Wow, my baby is so old! He wanted a DVD of "Scrubs." I don't like that show, could never get into it, but he loves it. We also got him some protein to take after he does his weightlifting. He goes every day to the school to do weight-training to get ready for football. He will be playing on the varsity team with the big boys now! He got a concussion last year and had a headache for two weeks. He missed three games. His CT scans were negative though and the headaches finally went away. He played in the last two games and did fine. I get worried about him though! I guess that's a mother's job though, to worry!

I'll play. I went to see my cardiologist this morning, walked right into a garbage container almost falling from the curb into the street because I was too busy looking at a gorgeous honey in a mini skirt instead of where I was going! and my cardiologist reported my ticker is still ticking! :)

And so far a great attempt too. Everyone seems to be succinct without a bunch or words getting in the way...sound funny? Ity is a sort of a joke as it implies someone who tries to sound intelligent by using unneccesary words that confuse more than explain. How was that for a wordy explanation? lol...
One thing that was recently mentioned in the posts was how nice Michelle Obama seemed on TV. Well, you do understand that one allways puts their (or someone elses) best foot forward? Don't get me wrong, I too feel shge was genuinely nice and even her husband has that same feeling in my book. After watching th
These are the things I know of in e SEn. in the past week I sense a bit of waffling on Iraq.
I was all set to support Hillary when I noticed her sounding like the "machine" and that was the last straw I thought. Then I heard her stand on the energy situation and her first inclination and the one she opened up with was the idea to give the oil companies insentive to creat new energy supplies besides gas and oil....What is wrong with that picture I said. Well, that was it no more hillary anbd I began to study Sen. Obama and came to the conclusion that even though I think he suffers from the "Hero worship syndrom" wherein someone still believes in an all powerfull deity with creative powers. We in the field call that scitzophrenia and religious pompasity is a major symptom.
Oh, wait a minute, am I tal;king about christianity? Catholisism? Judaism? Of course I am , just because they are mainstream does not preclude them from their difintitive roles....they are cults by definition like it or not. And deity worship is exactly the same as the ancient Greeks with their mutiple gods and godesses......
So, I do not care if someone has a good rapore' with one's spiritual advisor or not. I know one thing for certain and that is the old axiom"everyone must have SOMETHING to believe in" is faulse.
Check this out. Santa=Satan Devil=Lived Evil=Live
funny how all that works out. Do I believe in UFOs? You see UFO as a bad thing with "little green men".....that may be true who knows? But I do know this...Look around at the great abundance and diversity of life just on this plante Earth. Ok, now imagine that our sun is a star just like the stars in the night sky. The amount of stars is so vast therte's no name for the number to describe it. But in contemporary digets we'll say there are a quadrillion trillion stars in the neighboring galaxies besides the Milky Way (ours). If one takes the random laws of chance and devides that by a factor of 1000 you still get over 10,000 habitable planets in our neighborhood alone. Habitable is a little different than a decade ago. We now know that life can thrive in the most extreme environments on Earth. In the depths of the seas miles down where the planets splits apart and forms volcanic vents that eject water and sulfers with all kinds of other toxics into the open seas with tempuratures reacvhing up to 800 degrees F. and yet all around these vents feeding off the bacteria aremany forms of life from fish and crabs to shrim and bi-valves galore. Not a sliver of sunlight only the chemicals produced by the venting. THe microbes live off the chemicals and survive by chemosynthisis as opposed to photosynthisis...amazing...
Then there is the case of the bacteria found in Antarctic Ice from a core representing 20,000,000 yrs of ice. THe bacteria was thawed and "fed" and to everyone's surprise they spontaneously sprang back to life!!!
This is no joke and the scientific world was on it's collective head....WOW!! So, with this type of information and realizing that all the evidence whether the Air Force or whoever says there is none or not, the evidence points to a very logical conclusion...the life tha exists outside of our solar system has been here, is here and will be here in the future. There has been contact with at least one government that admits it. That gov. is India and they have been saying for years that they have been in contact with aliens who they understand to mean no harm.
To sum it all up...I will vote for Sen Obama, because he's the best man for the job at the moment. Life is everywhere and there is life elsewhere that has been in contact with some of the people o f this world!!! Not abductees necessarily but just contactees
