I find these websites very handy to learn from:
http://www.aslpro.com/
http://www.lifeprint.com/
Some discussion forums:
http://www.alldeaf.com/
http://www.tagdeaf.com/
Practicing signing online with another signer:

Practicing signing in person while sipping Starbucks coffee:

And finally, for that touch of humor:

I hope you all find some useful information above.

A visual method (webcam), is all that I can think of using right now...I suppose if you wanted to make a more curricular experience out of it, you could use a still camera to make 'digital flashcards' so to speak.

Hey Dave, thanks for the suggestions. I particularly love www.lifeprint.com, and deafcoffeechat is also a WONDERFUL way to get involved in the Deaf community. Thanks! I love all your help!

Sounds great! It's a fun word too, as is "bug"! ;) That'll be great, let's do something in the new year once people are back from vacation and the word/message has gotten out. Thanks!!!! :D

Hi, I was half-way thru an ASL interpreter program b4 I left to help my mother who became very ill in another state. I've forgotten alot, but need to get back in it. I'll have to get a webcam for this little laptop tho. I'll check back with you all on this.

Welcome Kel, thanks for your interest! Yeah, it took a while for me to get mine and it doesn't work consistently, thus I'll have to check that out. But I welcome you and hope to start something soon in the new year! Thanks!
