I noticed in the other thread there was a request for a space to talk about relationships for folks with Spina Bifida - I thought we could have a space to specifically discuss it, and perhaps elabourate in greater detail about what works, what hasn't, what we love, what we hate, etc.
I like your idea! Great thinking!
i'm new, i also have spain bifida. i think if a awsome idea. look forward to it.

I would really like if you did a blog like that...I am a person that lives with SB and I have a really hard time with the relationship part of my life....Maybe that would help???
Good Thinking!!
Hey Jess!
What kind of information would you like about relationships? What type of challenges have you encountered? I guess I'm wondering if it's more the meeting, forming relationships, commitment, family planning, or sexuality issues that you'd be more interested in reading about.....I've done some research in the area and can suggest some good books depending on what you're looking for.
Talk to you soon!
Kara
This is a great idea! Like somebody else said I have a hard time with dating , haven't had one in a lot of years. My problem seems to be that either the guys I meet don't want to deal with someone that has spain bifida. and in a wheelchair like me. Or like the last one who did give it a try for a little bit , then up one day and said that he couldn't handle the wheelchair part and that it's over . What I really hate is that men don't even give me a chance.
