Do you love words? Can you be seen reading a dictionary... for fun? Do you correct other people's spelling, because you JUST CAN'T HELP IT?
www.WordCupCafe.org is home to a new vocabulary competition - the "Word Cup."
Contestants prove their verbal and spelling skills in a time restricted environment. All three rounds of the competition take place online, with increasing levels of supervision.Trying out for this global, online competition is free, and the event rewards personal improvement as well as overall championship. i can't wait to try this! I JUST CAN'T HELP correcting other people's spelling....and grammar! i cringe when i know i've spelled a word wrong, but can't find the correct spelling or the spell check, and so have to leave it the way it is!
