    • Violeta,

Hang in there kid. You're only 18.  You've still got many, many years in the game. It's only the first inning.

The best advice I can give is to be active. You have to be out there doing things.  Have hobbys and activities that will make you an interesting person.  From a guy's point of view, there is nothing attractive about a beautiful young woman with no interest. Watching Judge Judy does not qualify as a hobby.  Wink

I didn't meet my wife until I was in my late 30's.  Along the way I dated off and on.  Some serious long term, some just ships passing in the night... Either way I head a good time.   You'll find someone.  Just be happy, outgoing, active and more importantly, be yourself.  Phoney women get used and kicked to the curb real fast.  You don't want that.  Cool

    • You are so right!  I have mild cp and was sure I would be an "old maid" because no one would want me long term. I made sure the few guys I dated knew about my "limp" so they wouldn't be taken off guard. All my AB friends got married right out of high school, so I figured it just wasn't going to  happen to me.  I was 23 when I decided I was never going to get married. (an old maid in those days)  When I had arrived at this conclusion, life pulled a good one on me!

I had sworn off all blind dates but then got talked into going on one just one more time.   What a mistake that would have been if I hadn't-he was AB and quite a HUNK.  I have been married to that wonderful guy for 35 years .We have two grown children who are a great help to us both as we age.  I have to use a cane now and,  to my husband, I am still as beautiful as ever.Big Smile

      Gloria
