Very intriguing/interesting article. Thanks for sharing. But, although I find the statements and concepts so true, Imyself would like to concentrate more on becoming fully functional in every sense of the term, rather than worry about how I'll be treated whenever I return to work..Everyday of my life , I always yearn to return to work, but, I still have a lot of obstacles to get through, if I want to succeed in gaining future employment once again .

Whitney, you are funny!,andso adorable. I agree about the men taking this harder, but, at the same time, I also believe that it is hard on anyone, be it male or female. In my case, for instance, I feel very lost and insecure. Like I totally lost my identity and self-worth, when I fell ill and couldn't work anymore.I was totally devastated when my cemployer had to let me go.And, it wasn't just because of the paycheck either.I think it was more because I seemed to havelostmy 'other' family. It was really hard!
