My struggle after sustaining TBI at age 16 was believing that I am still fearfully and wonderfully made.
I'm believing that now

Hello Padre.
My TBI was in 1994 and I also suffered a spinal cord injury which had complications in later years that left me more disabled than I was originally.
I have written a book called A Complete Plain-English Guide to Living With a Spinal Cord Injury: Valuable Information From a Survivor which has a chapter in it on spirituality after a spinal cord injury.
I have started research on a book on Traumatic Brain Injury.

Dear Carolyn,
My kids call me papa, but for anyone other than them I am not a father. Deacon actually means "servant" and our role can be most easily understood as serving those on the fringes of society -- our society has a lot of fringes! Grin.
I'll write you privately about the book you're working on. Spirituality while facing any disability is a criticical component to facing and overcoming the challenges.
Blessings,
Patrick
