At one time or another in our online communities, we will probably encounter someone who is depressed and suicidal. We may encounter this more frequently here because depression is a common secondary condition for someone dealing with a disability. As a community, we need to offer our support and kindness to these individuals. But the question is: what can we do when we’re thousands of miles away from the person and can’t just jump in the car to go over and be with them?
