    FAQs: Signature Line

     

    Members can create a personal signature line that will then be affixed to each comment posted in the discussion forums.  The signature line can contain text and/or images which identify you and your interests to the community. 

     

    To create/edit your signature line, login to your account on http://www.disaboom.com/ and click on the "Edit Profile" link.

    The Signature field is located in the "About Me" section at the top of the page.  Type plain text or copy an image link into the Signature field and then click on the "Save" button to upload the changes.

     

     

     

    Types of Information not allowed in Signature Line:

     

    • *  Personal Information such as full name, physical address, phone number, and links to offsite e-mail addresses, instant messenger addresses or other community profiles are prohibited.

     

    Disaboom offers a Private Message System as a method to communicate with other members without disclosing your most personal information in the discussion forums or signature line.  To protect your privacy, never post your personal information in public forums on the Internet.

     

    Use the private message system to exchange personal information one-on-one with another member once you have built a relationship and trust that person.

     

     

    • *  Advertising a business or other services from which you derive profit is prohibited.

     

    Disaboom.com offers advertising solutions for businesses to showcase their products and services in our community.  To inquire about advertising on the site, click on the "Advertise with Us" link located at the bottom of each page on http://www.disaboom.com/.

     

     

    • *  Inappropriate content, as defined by our Terms of Service, is prohibited.

     

    Examples of Inappropriate Content:

     

    • - Pornographic Text or Images
    • - Vulgar or Abusive Language
    • - Defamation of Character or Racism
