TV shows that I watch are Little People, Big World. I watch dog shows, Cesar Milan, baseball games. I am very TV oriented. I am also outgoing. I don't watch TV all the time, but when I do, I like to watch my shows. What kind of shows are you interested in?

The Rolloffs were on Oprah the other day while I was still on campus, so I went to Hillel to watch it. My friend Scott went off on this whole thing about how they're publicity whores and they're only doing this for the publicity, and also for the $, and he just kept going on and on... Thank god his phone rung, as I was about to leap across the coffee table and strangle him. I told him they were doing a public service to this country. I hope you all agree. I took what he had to say as much more of a personal attack then I thought I would. He know's I'm big on advocacy work...
I don't really think it matters why they're doing the show; they've brought more awareness to disability in general and little people in particular than anyone has in a long, long time. It can't be easy for them to be on camera that much and to have their lives picked apart by people who watch the show. I read a bit on their forums and was appalled at the things people said about them. Anyway, I think it's a really, really good show and I admire their determination and the fact that they just live their lives as anyone would. They don't complain, they don't use being LP as an excuse, they just live. Not everyone is that strong. In fact, as I was struggling to get something off of the grocery store shelf yesterday and started to feel myself get annoyed, I thought of Amy doing the same thing and never thinking twice about it. Clearly, they've inspired me,
Did you expect a dissertation?
I watch tv everyday, I like the History channel, Discovery, and the Health channel, along with the Weather, Cooking, CNBC during the weekdays. I like some of the NASCAR races and the NHRA on Sunday nights on the weekends they run on ESPN 2 I also like the comedy channel and Mad TV.
ER since the very beginning, Deadliest Catch, Axe Men, Family Guy (It's my son's fault, he watches it and got me addicted!), Dog Whisperer, Mythbusters, Little People/Big World, anything on the Discovery Channel or The Learning Channel. I live movies better than regular TV.
I was reading an article in my local paper the other day, where they asked 2nd graders what they wanted to be when they grew up. It was hilarious. One kid said he wanted to be a dog whisperer, cause he wanted to talk to dogs! TV has such an influence on these little people.

Joe, you need your own TV.
I always have the TV on in the background. I enjoy the Rolloff's show, and I also believe they are wonderful advocates. The wife reminds me of me, only I'm taller. Hehe. I love her attitude.
I enjoy shows with basis in fact, History channel, Discovery Channel, A&E shows like Intervention and American Justice, etc. I watch news every day so I know what's going on in the world. But you know what I'd like to see? A program where they put a camera on a disabled person and turn them loose into the public. See it from the eyes of the person in the chair. I think that would wake up a LOT of AB's.
The Unit- I love
CSI
The Big Bang Theory
The Real Housewives
America's Next Top Mopdel
Top Chef
Numbers
Without A Trace
Battlestar Galactica (its ending this year) :'(

CSI - although I really haven't watched much of this season
Heroes
I'm also really big into biographies, and shows where they recount crimes like on TruTV (formerly Court TV) and Snapped on Oxygen. I am fascinated by the 'why' in why people do these things. The downside to the cime shows is I make myself so paranoid, especially when it comes to crimes commited against children.
