    • Does anyone know of any organizations that would be willing to donate their old artificial limbs to disabled persons in Nigeria? We found out through our church that there is a great need due to political persecution. One lady was walking to her daughter's home and a gang jumped her and cut off her leg and left her to die. Please let me know. Thanks, Holliberry

    • Hey Holli,

What a sad story. Sorry, I don't know of any organizations who do that. I can ask my prosthetist. I know I have given him some of my old equipment, Podis boot and orthopedic shoe with a calf brace. He then went ahead and donated them to an organization who then donates these to people in third world countries. Maybe he will know where to get old pros from. I only have one spare prosthesis and need to keep that until I get my next pros, in about 1-1/2 years. When I get my new one, I plan to donate my old one. Good luck!

      Becky
