    • I too have a lot of pain when it rains, and don't want to get out of bed sometimes. I can relate to being called lazy and wish that sometimes they could take a walk in my shoes. Angry

    • I have always reacted in many different ways to weather changes, and especially the changes in seasons.  I ache and hurt unbelievably all winter, but especially when the temperature dips into the minus 20's (I'm in Northern Canada).  I do hurt somewhat with rain, but not as bad as the winter hurts.

I go into allergy symptoms every spring and fall, and have to use a sinus spray at these times and also get a lot more migraines at these times of the year.  My drs know that they will be prescribing more Imitrex than usual for me at these times of the year.  I just get one after the other until the season finally settles in.

One thing I'm sure would help with this is to take a bath with Epsom Salts.  It is said to be good for aching muscles, but I have been living with only a shower for the last two years.  The good news, though, is that I am moving finally into subsidized housing and my new apartment will have a bathtub!  Yeayyyyy!!!   LOL  I will let you know if I find relief from the Espom Salt bath or not........can't wait to try it!

      Gentle Hugs,

      Maggie

    • I'm pretty good with the pain in winter.  In Minnesota once it is cold it stays - with mild fluctuations.

I'm going to try the epsom salt. I better grab it now that i am having a decent day!!

      Thanks for the tip!
