 I have been a member of the disaboom chat room for three months. It has been my belief to support, laugh with each other, and meet new people. During the daytime, it is an excellent support group! However, the evening is not supportive at all. The language at night is very vulgar, there is a lack of respect, and it is completely out of control. This chat room is for anybody and nobody should be judging who has a disability and who doesn't. Unfortunately, the new members are uncomfortable and tend to leave at times. Also, there are minors in this room. The staff at disaboom needs to monitor the evening hours. Everyone should feel welcomed and comfortable at all times !

yes i agree to the whole statement and think that some poeple should be kick out for that behaver,  they don't know how to respect other and don't know how to understand what is going on because all they do is swear and talk about drinking and sex all the time.

What's the matter Rainey, copying the transcripts and turning them in to site management hasn't gotten us bad people banned yet?

Push yourself back from the keyboard.  The 16 or so hours each and every day you spend in that chat room is highlighting your self esteem issues.

 Beaker  why dont you ask the staff that yourself   sorry to say your are so wrong ! they can back me up on that ! there must be other that feel the same .... yes i do enjoy time in here with my friends , the amount of time i do spend in chat is only my bussiness   have a great day !      rainey xo

I'm not there very often at night but I have and all three of you are right. I enjoy the chatting in the afternoon from about 2:30 - 6:00. The people are great and the music is great.  So rainey, bruce, and connie I was hopeing someone would bring it up. I am so new yet that I didn't  want to make anyone mad at me for saying anything. There is no problem with the chat at night.  It is free and fun and the only people that make problems are those that have the same problems during the day.  The issues of which you speak should be worked out among the people in there.  Let's be adults about it.  If you don't like coming on in the evening then don't, there are simple solutions to everything.

 THE CHATROOM IS OPEN TO ALL TWENTY FOUR SEVEN ! THERE ARE RULES THAT SHOULD BE ENFORCED ! THERE IS NO REASON FOR ALL THE CUSSING ,WHEN WE ARE ALL AWARE THERE ARE CHILDREN IN THERE AS YOUNG AS 15 !  WHERE THE RESPECT ?????????? WHY CANT A POINT GET ACROSS WITHOUT THE 'F" WORD IN EVERY OTHER SENENTENCE , LAST I CHECKED THIS WAS A FAMILY SITE !
