Rainey, I see us more as good self advocates rather than being spoiled. It was not a piece of cake to get the ADA into place. Even now, enforcement is spotty at best, but we're still pushing.
I have not compared our DME prices with another country's so I can'at speak to the issue. I'm glad that he found our prices a bargain and spent his monaey in the USA. I do think our medicine prices are artificially high and applaud WalMart and others for their efforts to bring costs down.
All in all, regardless what Michael Moore says, I will take our health care systems over Cuba's any day. As far as I know he does not go there for his healath care.

Well, all I can say I get my wheelchairs for absolutely free.
Well not really of course, because I have to pay into my health insurance. But that is a very reasonable ammount of money, and it buys it all. No doctor will come to me and say "We can't make an MRI, because your insurance doesn't cover that."

Yeah the mom whose hubby walked out on her so now she is working two part time jobs to support the kids......no health insurance cause shes part time and she has to take the sick baby to an emergency room because the clinic wont see the baby anymore because she has a back bill
sure is lucky..........there are less uninsured Americans because legislators have begun to address the issue of uninsured children
but what happens to the person who has a disabling medical condition and has been turned down when they applied for SSDI and are appealing ..... no doctor will see them because they have no money for health care so how to keep documenting their medical problems for the appeal and they cant work or can only work part time so cant pay rent and end up on the street
I think we saw a thread here in the forum to that effect so
Yeah we are so lucky.........in some ways perhaps but we have a long way to go as a nation when it comes to health care

Yeah we are spoiled for sure we have a cap lock key to make sure our message is always first and always noticed. Not spoiled my youngest sister the baby factory with some 5 kids underage whos hubby was busted by the FBI for child porn producing and selling and having her kids abused unknowing from her over his on-line friends so sweet they were it makes me want to puke. At any rate she has no resources never worked a day her thing was having babies lots of them and hubby made sire was his new production material.
So talk about spoil yeah on-line I can invent I am a saint and be the most sick pseron on the planet. Helthcare issues and all the catch 22 rules of even being disabled in most cases I am treated far better outside the USA then inside and have not found my abilities to hamper my movements.
I do not invent stuff to solve it as some I see whats there and maybe want to try and fix it.
