    • I am unsure what kind of back pain you are enduring but I can tell you that I have degenerative disc disease.  Been operated on twice with disc replacement.  I have broken my back several times and now suffer from spinal stenosis also.  I bought an inexpensive decompression table allowing me to invert upside down I think it's an inversion table actually and I have noticed a difference.  Instead of dealing with the week long pain when my back does go out.  As soon as I notice the slightest tinge of pain I go on the table and hang upside down for awhile and it seems to work.  Not allowing or stopping what was just about to happen not happen.  I do it everyday for five minutes in the mornings also.  I hope this helps

    • Where did you get your inversion table and was it very expensive?

    • I hate to say it but I got it on ebay for 90.00.  It is a good one also.. I researched many different kinds, went on the ebay to see if any were cheaper and there it was.  It cost 90.00 and then 25.00 for shipping.  Not bad most are going for hundreds.  There is also one for 160.00 on walmart.com

      Hope it helps you

      Tam

    • Thanks for getting back to me so soon. I think it's something I'm gonna have to get serious about and look into for myself. When I worked as a medic, our stations had a complete gym, and the good ones had inversion tables. There was always a line. For good reason. Besides my active fibro, my MS that hasn't exaserbated in years, I have a tarlov cyst in my spinal cord at L5 - S1. It's like having sciatica 24/7. The one time i had access to the inversion table it felt so good, I couldn't decide to just move in and never get off the table, or to stand upright and feel the pain again. Talk to you again real soon Tammy, thanks for the info. terrylynn
