You asked, we delivered—now you can really express yourself. Check out your new expanded profile options and start telling us who you are and what you like. That’s right, list your hobbies, your favorite movies, music and TV shows. Join a group, upload a photo and favorite that sweet blog post you read this morning. Profiles are where it’s at, and if you deck out yours to the brim you’ll be in the running for $100 cash.
To qualify simply make sure that every section of your profile has something in it (you’ll need to have an avatar, ‘favorite things,’ ‘hobbies and interests,’ a brief ‘about me’ blurb, an uploaded photo or two, be a member of a group, and have at least one favorite article or blog post).
So Get Started! It’s fun, it’s easy and you’ll learn how to use some of the site’s new features. You’ll also be in the running for a cool $100. If your profile qualifies simply leave a comment on this contest thread to enter. Disaboom will randomly select a winner from all the qualifying entries.
Contest is over February 18, 2008. Winner will be selected by February 20, 2008.

Filling out your profile is very simple. First, make sure you're signed in to disaboom.com. Then click the "View Profile" button next to your username near the top right hand side of the page. You'll soon see a page that looks similar to the image below. Click the orange "Edit" buttons to add to each relevant section. When you want to upload an image click the "Upload a Photo" button. There you go!

How do I join the groups? ... I can only find 8 groups I use a scooter and don't see anything I can do. Are there any more to choose from?
I too have noticed a lack of groups, but lucky for me I am a wheeler so there is one for me! I'm not sure I completely understand the point of them, but here are a few quick suggestions to add: Disabled Artists, Horror Movies (because I love zombies!), Rock Music, and don't forget about geeks and gamers! (geeks are people too!)
Or maybe I have it wrong and the users are supposed to create groups? Let me know if that's the case and I could create a few.

I posted under a thread called "Disabled Artist' in the Arts and Culture section. Is that considered a group? There are wonderful artists there but their work is posted through out in many different places. I thought that was not a group but just a disscussion.
I checked out the groups and did not see much. Do you have to be a part of a group to see anything?
I would love to see a group or something that even non-members can see the Artist's art in one spot so others would not have to hunt for them.
