The National Statler Center is accepting applications from blind, visually impaired and disabled individuals seeking careers in the customer service and hospitality industries. Offered is a ten-week course in:
· Hospitality
· Hotels
· Tourism
Classes begin July 6 and continue through Sept. 15.
The Statler also offers a seven- week course by its Statler Training and Employment Connection for customer service training for:
· Call centers
· Financial
· Medical offices
· Transportation and
· Communication fields
Classes begin July 6 and run through Aug. 24.
Students are taught business and technology skills using Microsoft Office Suite and assistive technologies. Personal job-search assistance is provided for graduates.
