K-12 for Children with Disabilities

K-12 education for children with disabilities can be challenging for everyone involved, as parents, teachers, and administrators must collaborate for a successful outcome. Special needs students may include those with mild-to-severe learning disabilities, developmental delays, physical limitations, emotional issues, or some combination of these. Consequently, it will be up to the parents to decide whether the local public school or one of the special education schools that deal specifically with their child's issue is the best choice.
