Curriculum Vitae: I'm a typical, wanna-not-be-a senior citizen who was upended by a stroke while in the process of re-inventing myself as a writer slash documentarian. I listed my birthday as April 4th, 2007, the date of my stroke. Disaboom lists my sign as Aries when in fact I'm a Cancer, or so I've been told. (You think that's what they meant?) I've worn many hats in my life; referrals from The Razor's Edge Employment Agency, like oven loader in an asbestos board factory. Being a chain smoker saved my life. I did quit (the job & smoking) and moveman in a defense contracting facility. It's been a good life. I've been a real estate agent and kitchen designer, and manager of an engineering field office for a national company. Received an ABA in business and acquired a BA majoring in journalism (2004). I have two books half-written. The first's a(n) historical fiction about Sir William Pepperrell, the first person knighted in the Colonies. The other is about stroking out. Nothing published or sold yet. Additionally I've produced and shot a half-dozen video documentaries which aired on public access cable tv about extraordinary people I've met in my travels, and told in their own words. A video which compared the expectations and dreams of first-generation immigrants' to what they found when they came to America made it past the entrance committee (the $300 entrance fee had absolutely no influence) into the New York International Independent Film Festival two years ago. My current goals are to go back and win it (not really), and to eventually be published (really).
