About Me

Iam almost 21 years old. Struggling college student.my life goal is to be a writer but that seems to be put on hold since iam trying to keep up with everything else going on in my life. Earlier this year I got my first set of Bilateral BTE Hearing aids. It has been a real struggle. I have had hearing loss my whole life but skirted around it. When I failed my hearing tests as a child I would say I had a cold. I never wanted to admit it. Then in highschool my hearign dramatically dropped again. My so called friends and such would tease me or cover their mouths when talking to me.So last year I gave in and got my hearing aids. But that poses other problems. I have been having a hard time learning to cope with this new life style. I have even had to change employers. So if anyone can relate, drop me a line I would love some advice!
