About Me

I was struck by a car while walking to work in Jan. of '03. I was left with nerve damage in my lower back and rt. foot. I developed fibromyalgia shortly afterward. I now walk w/2 metal crutches and suffer constant pain. Before my accident I was an early interventionist for children w/ special needs,at thr preschool level. Kids w/developmental and ironically,physical challenges. I now have Social security and am unable to work. I am trying to get regular exercise to lose the 30lbs that have creeped on. Some days it is just too painful. I take narcotic pain meds, muscle relaxers,and sleep meds. I stopped taking antidepressants, but I may have to start again. I have two sons. I have several cats,fish.hampster,gerbals,2 snakes and a basset hound.
