About Me

I am a left leg below the knee amputee. Very little use of my left hand and left elbow is fixed at 45 degrees. I am a Type 2 Diabetic. All due to a motorcycle accident Nov. 4, 2001 when I was hit headon in my lane by a pickup truck while riding my Harley. My job is Sevice Writer at a Harley-Davidson dealership. I am a certified Peer Visitor and Amputee Support Group Coordinator. My certification is through the Amputee Coalition of America. I work with amputees and their familiy and friends in my area. I work with hospitals and care giving facilaties visiting amputees and leading support groups. I live in upstate NY in the Chemung Valley just above Sayre, PA. I am here for other amputees, their family, and friends. I am walking talking proof that people can live a full productive life after limb loss. Be well and happy, Crockett
