About Me

My Name is Chris, my friends call me Crusty. They claim I am a bit of a clown. I am 48 years old. I was diagnosed with IBM (Inclusion Body Myositis) about 16 years ago. It is a form of Muscular Dystrophy. It is degenerative and cause weakness throughout most of the body. I do pretty well though. I use a power wheelchair quite a bit. I can still get around without it, but it gets a little scary. Falling is not fun. I live in south Florida. Love the weather here!
