About Me

I was diagnosed with Limb-Girdle MD at age 14, even though I was born with it. I graduated high school at age 18 at a private christian school. I met my hubby at age 22 and we married a little over a year later in 1988. I Thank God every day for giving him to me. The fact that he looked past my disability and accepted me for who I am shows what kind of a person he is. And if I didn't realize how much he cared for me before, 2007 - now has definitely shown me. I was diagnosed with Ovarian cancer in Feb.'07. Went through 6 chemo treatments, found out that I was cancer-free Aug. 15,'07, and have been cancer-free ever since. I always said my MD wasn't going to get me and I definitely wasn't going to let cancer get me either.
