About Me

29 years old, had my hiking accident March 29th of 2006, and nine surgeries later had a below-knee amputation (left leg), and a stump revision. I'm a Colorado native and lived in Denver. But, after the accident I couldnt keep my job and my girl and I were kicked out of our apartment. So, here I am at my future in-laws home trying to get my life back together. The full story of my 11 surgeries, numerous infections, getting kicked out of doctor offices due to no money, and actually finding the funds to have the surgeries is very long, so I'll leave it at that. I'm very active, and very much in love with my girl and her family. I've never done anything like this (support sites etc.)so its....different to share my thoughts/feelings to people I don't know. But, I keep an open mind and by reading some threads here it seems your all very kind people.
