About Me

My name is Gina and I'm a C-5/6 quadraplegic. I was injured October 11, 2003 after diving into a pool. I was 18 when it happened, and it changed my plans a little. I was doing the whole Culinary thing, now I'm headed towards Law School. I drive a Honda Element and am rockin' a sticker that says, "Once you go gimp, you know you're a pimp." I'm an avid shopper, poker player, crazy girlfriend, loud gimp, not very P.C., myspacer, spa lover, and enjoying my 20's. I call the cops every time I see someone parking illegally in handicap parking. If they come out and I'm there, I don't keep my mouth shut, I let them know how ashamed they should be for being completely self absorbed. And If they look like they don't need or are borrowing grandma's hanger I ask them why they are "handicap". I "stand up" for myself, and I think if we all work together we could get some of those stupid laws changed. Well that's about enough about me. If all you want to do is bitch about what you can't do or how horrible life is, I'm not your girl. If people don't want to be around you, it's not the injury, it's your attitude. I'm ALL about empowerment and loving life. My advice to all, inform yourself! Peace!
