Hello everyone, I am happy to have found this site! At this point in my life I think I am ready to talk about my Spina Bifida and get advice. I am a T12. I have never let Spina Bifida stop me! I went to public school and then went on to obtain associates, bachelors and masters degrees. I sing in a christian group with my boyfriend who also has Spina Bifida and another friend of ours who was born blind! My guy and I have been together for 4 years now, but have known each other our whole lives through Scottish Rite Hospital. I live on my own, am 34, love animals, butterflies and am an avid Tweety Bird freak! I have been a born-again christian since I was 14 and the fellow and I attend a great church where our gifts and talents are recognized and it's not about the w/c. I have a wonderful loving family, both parents are still living and have been married for 50+ years. I have 2 older brothers who are great and have their own contemporary Christian band. I also sing with my parents in church and as a soloist as well. My whole family is musically inclined.
