I'm a 37- year old University Student working on my Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations. I'm a Survivor of Ovarian and Uterine Cancer. I'm a Native American. The disability that I live with is Spastic Quad Cerebral Palsy. My Permobil wheelchair is nicknamed "Jaws" and My 1998 Ford Van is "Betsy". She was bought used as a gift from several of my family members so that I wouldn't have to sit at bus stops in the freezing cold Michigan weather just so that I could get to classes at University. I love music, travel, I'm Bilingual, I like to read shakespeare and lots of other interesting books including romance novels and books on spirituality and philosophy. I like to swim and would love to learn to fly an airplane.
Hobbies: Well, let's see.... I collect spoons, teddy bears and cookbooks. I love to cook, knit, and sew. I love to write, I write poetry and am currently working on a script that may turn into a film or a children's book. I have two cats that allow me to pay rent so they can live in my apartment.
Interests: Entertainment-- I love to travel, meditation yoga, swimming, music I really have a great time at concerts-- I've seen everyone from Barry Manilow and John Denver to Ricky Martin and Tim McGraw, board games, web design, I'm a Trekkie and a Trekker-- I'd say that I'm human, betazoid, vulcan and klingon. Soap Operas, Everything on ABC, &Days of our LivesYoung and RestlessI love food and the Food Network.
Music:Everything except Rap... I'll only listen to that if it doesn't sound angry or violent
TV Show:CSI, Monk, Charmed, Ghost whisperer.. the list goes on forever
Movies:Everything except Pornography and Extreme gore... that stuff is a waste of film.
Books:Shakespeare, Lama Surya Das, cookbooks, Romance novels, love them all. but right now I have to focus on textbooks.
