About Me

I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and major depression 17 years ago. I was a technical writer at the time and my career was stolen from me due to injuries to my left arm and hand. I fought the diagnosis for four years before discovering I'd have to learn to live with it. I have developed supraventricular tachycardia since and have had to have a disk replaced in my neck. My spinal cord was permentantly injured due to the doctors waiting for seven months after the disk in my neck herniated, so my left side is weak. I fish everyday I can in the summer here in Maine and this winter I'm writing my first science fiction book and quilting.
