I have been totally disabled since 1994. In 2006, I was appointed by the Govenor of Montana to serve a three year term on the State Independent Living Council. I have been working with Easter Seals Project Action and have been giving workshops titled People on the Move. These workshops teach and empower the disabled to use all forms of transportation and to become advocates for change. I am currently serving as the state task force leader for transportation legislative, administrative,& advocacy changes. I'm a volunteer peer advocate for north central Montana and work with the Rural Institute to help woman with disabilities. In my spare time I love to quilt. I also am a polio survivor.
