I saw this site in a TV profile, and was very impressed. I am relatively normally abled, (whatever THAT definition is..) but I was in direct care for MRDD people for a few years and had dated a deaf woman as well as two with CP. And have had friends with varying degrees of CP. Currently, I work alot, and don't have much time to meet new friends. And I want to be friends with real and sincere people, not the many online fakes. About me, I'm a 48 yr. old gay, Christian female. I have mild Tourette's as well as bi-polar disorder...so I have my differences from the "normal". I have a carin terrier named Davey and a great housemate who works with all sorts of folks with different needs here in the Toledo area. I am outgoing, can be kinda goofy and love people. The lost art of conversation is just about my favorite thing!
