About Me

My name is Todd Maples. All my friends and family call me Bighead. I'm a brainstem stroke survivor, paralyzed on the left side of my face and the right side of my body. I was in a coma for a few months. Then, I had that "Locked In Synd" for about a year. Now I live in a nursing home in Eastern NC. I have 8 spoiled kids and a wife that keep me busy.
