53 years old, manic depressive over 30 years sober this time almost a year, went through I suppose a type of male crisis's with my age at 50, bought a few bikes, started hanging out with the wrong crowd and found myself drinking again for about 1 and a half years.Screwed up my medication, started doing the same thing that I did when I was sober the first time when I was 27. I am back on track as far as Manic depressives go. no longer have a bike. and the supposedly biker friends went as well. kinda miss riding, don't miss the booze. Had neck surgery in Oct 06, 2 metal plates 6 screws, bone fused, 14 shots in my spine,, pinched nerve that effects my right arm. still dealing with a lot of pain. Limited physical ablitys. or I hurt something fierce. I am now being referred to a spine specialist, My pain Dr can do no more. Hopefully this referal to the Spine specialits will help.
