I am a University of Texas at Austin alumni, so I will forever be a Longhorn fan and always want to move back to Austin! During my sophomore year at UT, in 2000, I had an accident where I fell from a 3rd story balcony which resulted in a T7-T8 SCI, and TBI, but I made it back to school after a year out for rehab, and self realization. After a few victory laps I finally graduated in 2004 with my BBA in Finance. Currently I work in Victoria, TX as a Disability Program Navigator for the Golden Crescent Workforce Development Board. This is an great job where I help to bring job seekers that have disabilities together with employers that need good employees. Using different community resources I help to even the job market playing field for people that have disabilities by bringing together the resources that are available in a community to assist in their employment to the benefit of the employer and the employee. On Monday nights I play the piano at a local Greek restaurant for tips and the love of being around people having fun. The kind of music I play is all modern pop music(5 for Fighting, Augustana, Timbaland) including some older classic favorites(Billy Joel, the Beatles)and country hits(I Swear, Amazed, The Dance)
