About Me

I am a 60 year old activist and mother of three grown sons. I lost my mobility as a result of MS about six years ago. Navigating life in a wheelchair isn't for the faint of heart. I am an officer in a small(but growing) not-for-profit out of South Florida, called Disabled Patriots of America, and we work on seeing that the ADA laws are enforced. I have a dozen true passions that include music movies, and my wonderful significant other. I feel well every day and haven't had any kind of MS exacerbation in more than a dozen years. My biggest problem these days is the weight I've gained since I have been in this chair, I am hopeful that Weight Watchers can help me solve this problem. I long to find ways to exercise while I am in this chair. I just discovered Disaboom and am excited to explore what it has to offer. It's been my fantasy to start a website called Accessible Cleveland,that is an extensive lasting of all that is accessible in my part of the world.
