About Me

I am a 47 yr old woman. I live in New York City with my 19 yr old son. I have had Polio all my life. Now I am suffering from PPS(Post Polio Syndrome) I never new about this part of having Polio. So I was not ready for all the changes that I am going through. I used to take care of my personal care all by myself. Now I need help dressing, bathing and going to the bathroom. I used to feel good about gointg out alone but now I need someone with me to help me go to the bathroom and all of that stuff. I am hoping that I can meet people with PPS so I can talk to them because I have lots of questions about my furture with PPS.
