I HAVE OSTEO ARTHRITIS, DEGENERATIVE DISC DISEASE, LYME ARTHRITIS, CARPAL TUNNEL, ARTHRITIS IN MY BACK, HIPS, FEET AND HANDS. Also I have bursitis in my hips. I HAVE BEEN A HAIRDRESSER AND INTERIOR DESIGNER. I AM LOOKING FOR A JOB THAT IS EASIER FOR ME. And have not found it. I have run up against nasty people that have made fun of my arthritis, how I walk, and think that I am making it up. Since my knee replacement 5 years ago I have only been able to work part time at Hairdressing. ( I do enjoy my customers that have similar problems as I, they appreciate my understanding, I always let them know about DISABOOM ) How do I get disability? I'm tired of working in pain and tired of the struggle. I applied for disability, was turned down, appealed it, then I got to the stage of having to hire an expensive attourney & going to Columbia, SC for court. I could not afford it & my husband couldn't afford to take off work to take me. Any one who can give me any Ideas, please e-mail me.
