I was born with many physical disabilities and my parents were initially told not to expect much, but I live to exceed expectations. I have been walking since the age of two even though they said I never would and have gone from there. At the age of 17 I was diagnosed with Adams-Oliver Syndrome, Larsens Syndrome and Ehlers Danlos type III. I graduated in the top 5 percent of my class, (and the school had wanted to put me in special ed in kindergarden, what do they know), and am now attending Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, a top engineering school in the country. This fall though I fell and tore my ACL making me a full time wheelchair user, instead of just for distances. So needless to say right now life is fun.
