Hi I am 30 years old I was a truck driver util the day of my accident. I was rearanging a load and lost my balance. When I new that I was going to go off the top of the load I didn't want to land on my head or back so I jumped and broke my left tibia and talus as well a dislocating my left elbo as well. Since then I have been in nothing but pain and diacomfort. My new surgeon is talking about an ankle fusion or amputation. I have a feeling that the fusion will be a bad desition for me based on the fact that I already have arthritis from before the accident, and I am feeling that I should have my leg amputated below the knee. The accident was 18 months ago and I am ready to have things move on.
