About Me

I am a very reserved, kind of quiet individual. I do however love intersting, stimulating conversations. I like to spend time alone, reading or just thinkng. Teaching is my passion and children uplift me. I suffered a spinal cord injury in 2004, a couple of days before my birthday, on my way to work. Had surgery, then due to a medical mistake, flatlined twice. Had chest tubes inserted and was put on a vent. A couple days later, was taken off. Got a halo for my birthday and was released to a rehabilitation center. Thought my life was over, but have started to view it differently. Currently working on my master's in education and plan to return to the classroom in August.
