About Me

Hi, friends! My name is Nico Echols, but you can call me Nicky- I don’t mind. I am 24 with an upcoming birthday on March 2nd, and I will then turn 24. My favorite things in life are watching Chicago Cubs baseball games and Illinois basketball games.I have lived in Illinois all my life. Living with cerebral palsy and being legally blind has given me a great opportunity to teach people about disability-rights issues. If I didn’t have a disability, I doubt I’d even have ever thought about raising disability awareness. Now that I am currently living in Springfield, being a disability-rights activist is a lot of fun.
