About Me

SCI - t-11/12 complete, 1997 i grew up in SW new york and lived in geneseo NY, olean NY, overland park KS, KCMO, long beach CA, buffalo NY, and charlemont MA before settling in rural eastern kansas where i became married with children. right now i am sidelined by a year+ long battle to resolve a pressure sore that has included four surgeries and a third of 2007 spent in the hospital in a clintron bed, on IV antibiotics, and/or a wound vac. before all this, i was active in my commmunity and very interested in music and art. some of my art can be seen at http://profile.myspace.com/kan5a5 i discovered kayaking postSCI and used to row several times a week. i love being outside and driving or rowing to remote areas to commune with nature. it centers me like little else can.
