About Me

I live in rural Yarnell Arizona, but I work in Souther Utah. Curently employed by Easter Seals as the Project Director for the Senior Coummunity Service Employment Program. This is a U.S. Department of Labor program authorized under the Older American's Act. We recruit and train income qualified seniors age 55+ and assign them to training positions in community service or governmental host agencies. We are mandated to reach out to those "hard to serve" candidates which include people with disabilites among other factors. I am interested in Disaboom because my disabled and wheelchair bound sister-in-law and her 100% VA Disabled husband are planning to relocate to San Diego from San Jose. Prior to this relocation Sandi (age 66), would like find a handicapped friendly place to stay for a few weeks while she investigates housing options, medical services, etc
