Hello, I am a 37 year old paraplegic mom, with 2 amazing children. I have been in a wheelchair for 9 years. The early years of my disability was very hard for me, especially I dont understand why it happened. My situation could have been prevented, I was suffering from tuberculosis of the bones (spinal column), but the doctor who examined me, misdiagnosed me. She then given me some steriod. Which contributed to the deterioration of my spine, which makes it collapsed (this according to the latest doctor who diagnosed me correctly). Now I am t5-t6, complete paraplegic. But hey, life must go on, now Im doing ok. With the support and love of my family.
