I am 40 yrs old and my roommate has multiple sclerosis, and for the last 8 yrs have been helping her to take care of herself. The situation does get overwhelming at times when she is unable to walk, or hold things the way she has been able to in the past. She has relapsing/remitting ms, so at times things are fine and she just needs me to do minor things to help her.
