I had a massive stroke March 28th 2007 I was 58 with no risk factors. I was working 1 full time &4 part time jobs the day i went down. DRS. got my family in and told them I wasn't going to make it. My brain was swelling At 10:00p.m.yhey ask my wife if she would sign to let them try to save me, she said yesso they removed my right skull and put it in my abdoman to keep it alive. 3 months later they cut me oopen again and put it back with 4 metal plates. I lived but, they told family I would never walk again. again. I don't remember the next 5 weeks. After 3 weeks in Norman General I was moved to JimThorpe for the next 7 weeks. There was another lady at Thorpe when I was there. Her first name was Cherylthat had the same expiernce. Only my stroke was on my right sidewhich paralized my left side. Her's was on the other side and effected her speech. If anyone knows who I'm talking about,I would sure like to know how she is doing.Contact me at itlnet.net
