Married to Drew. We are both bi-polar. 3 of our 5 kidz have mental illness. Jaffa, 28; Natanya, 22; Vanessa, 19; Marcella, 15; and her twin, Michael. I love them and am so proud of them, even when they make me absolutely driven to cry! WE ARE EXPERIENCED! We've been so successful at getting Disability benefits for ourselves and friends, we decided to make it our business. (www.auroralifetools.com) I'm an East-coast, Jewish girl living in Salt Lake City! I'm a member of Maya's Mom and myspace. I belong to a women's book club, watch really good and really bad TV and many genres of movies, listen to NPR, and my favorite music is "easy listening". I can be pretty darn funny, and am almost always sweet and kind. Smart, thoughtful and insightful. Love making friends and getting pampered when I can afford it. I'm 53, proud of it, and I look fabulous! Let's see...I am not a good cook. I cherish the few moments I have alone with Drew. I have highly diversified job skills. I've done sales, retail/management, receptionist, skin care and cosmetics consultant. I am very active with the Clubhouse movement (www.iccd.org) and do some traveling. I love to eat, but have lost over 60 lbs in the last year. I have been a strong advocate for disability rights. I wear acrylics because if I didn't,I would still bite my nails. I am planning a wedding and a college graduation; both next summer. Sometimes I just congratulate on completing the day. I almost forgot! I am also mom to our two dogz - Hudson, a 5 y.o. male Australian Shepherd/Golden Retriever mix, and Tibby, a 10-month old female Australian Shepherd. They're both adopted from the shelter AND they're both neutered!! And I talk too much...
