About Me

Who is Mistyangel?? She is An educated, artigulate, sensible, stubborn mom! My children are the most important things in my life. I enjoy simple things in life, things that just make you take a deep breath and make you count your blessings. Simple walks on the beach at sunset, quiet dinners, long drives. I am a full blown coffee addict. I love my coffee any time of day or night! I love my music. With out music life just would not be complete. I have been to many mostly rock, but even the simple local bands that play weekly in the park will do. (I can take the little one, Ha. My children especially my CJ have inherited my love for music. I am a city girl. Born and raised on the North Shore of Massachusetts. I have lived many different places since I was 19 as I was an Air Force spouse for 17 years and now work for the Navy. So I guess you could say that I am a very well traveled woman. I even lived in Germany for 3 years. Now that I am a single mom, I am very ambitious and determined to make a good life for my little one Christopher. Christopher has Trisomy 21 or better known as Down syndrome, and is my whole world. He is an angel sent to me to love, and to be loved. My world is his world. He is my life, he is who I am. I am currently a Navy Contractor hired to assist with Disaster recovery, and deployments. I am hoping in the future to obtain my degree in Emergency Management. But as always I just take one thing and one day at a time. I have many different hobbies. I like to write, garden, photography, computers, and bowling. I love antiques, and bargain hunting. I am a weather nut! Nothing like watching a good storm roll in off the Gulf. I guess you could say cleaning is a hobby of mine to… ? I have been told I can be a bit compulsive, but to me a clean tidy home is a happy home. It relaxes me, and is my way of escaping things for a while. Mostly I am pretty quiet. I mostly enjoy spending family time with my kids. They grow so fast and I don't like to waste a moment. My biggest hobby is advocating for my son.
