About Me

I'm a first-year law student who aspires to practice Family Law Being in law school is intense, but it's easily the most engaging thing I've ever done in my life - maybe I am being too idealistic but I see the law as a great vehicle for social change. I have two disabilities; a severe visual impairment (usually I just say I'm blind) and Cerebral Palsy (sometimes said to be either diplegia or quad) Today I get around exclusively by power or manual chair, but I could walk unaided when I was a kid. Becoming a chair user is surely one of the factors that influenced my desire to promote social justice - for that's what I'm really about making the world a more welcoming place for all people. I'm always interested in meeting all kinds of people so drop me a line!
